AutomationMed LLC is a software development company specializing in kiosk software for direct patient data entry. E-Kiosk allows low-cost, intuitive demographic and medical history data entry and direct collection of validated outcomes measures for pay-for-performance measures, including an intuitive interface integrating educational and multimedia information. Integrating seamlessly with electronic medical records and X-ray databases, E-Kiosk is able to lower office overhead through system integration while providing invaluable additional data.
AutomationMed LLC is owned by a practicing surgeon and a software development team. This creates a unique combination of resources for software design and development, in an area typically fraught with archaic, overly expensive software with limited or no data integration. We have created powerful, stable applications with simple installation, usable by both staff and patients. We have realized actual cost reductions through data collection utilizing system integration, as opposed to the reverse typically seen with paper-based systems. We were founded in 1999.
Our philosophy is that product quality, ease of use, and fair cost engender customer satisfaction. Although our kiosk software development was initially targeted at medical applications, its generic and easily customized design enables its use in retail and educational as well as medical applications.
E-Kiosk currently includes a powerful development engine form designer which allows for rapid deployment of custom input questionnaires with multimedia and educational content.
E-Kiosk also includes the capacity for internal navigation criteria and a working kiosk engine to collect data directly from the public without the need for assistance, using personal logon with password encryption. Built-in data query enables data analysis and on-screen reporting feedback, and administrative call-back reporting.
ODBC compliance allows other databases to connect seamlessly.
We are members of the Self Service and Kiosk Association because of the unusual nature and function of our software, the kiosk platform upon which it functions, and the need to collaborate with hardware vendors in order to provide a customized solution for customers. Membership in the SSKA also hopefully improves our visibility to a national audience.
The kiosk industry is unique and innovative, creating an exciting development environment. Kiosk applications are rapidly bridging classic business systems and business intelligence with high-level innovations in the commercial marketplace.
Although we are a young company, we have powerful, robust applications with great versatility and potential both for medical and commercial applications for data collection and system integration.
